“A Members Only Wholesale Showroom to the Trade”

The New “MYL Designer’s Market Place” is for you the Decorator to use as your own showroom .
We have Window Treatment products, hardware, fabrics and trims on display for your use when helping your customer decorate their space.   

Please note that MYL is not a “Design” firm or an Installation Service, we are a Full Service Window Treatment Manufacturing/Distribution company.  We do not have the expertise in the Design field.  We can offer assistance to designers in ordering Labor, Fabric, Trim, & Hardware.

Please read below to help clarify the scope of services we are offering to provide at our Market Place.

The Designer’s Responsibility

MYL Services

DESIGN: The Designer is responsible to Design their customer’s space and choose the products and décor to meet the need of the Retail customer.

DESIGN: MYL offers a service to help the Designer learn how to write orders, calculate costs and yardages.

We will train Designers how to use our various labor & distribution sales books for writing up orders.

FABRICS & TRIMS: The Designer is responsible to choose the proper fabrics and trims for their customer.

FABRICS & TRIMS: MYL now offers Fabric and Trim to simplify your ordering process.   Once the Designer chooses the product, fabric and trim; we can offer insight as to whether or not that product will make up well with that fabric choice.

 

MYL staff is not trained in Design or Color Selection.

HARDWARE: The Designer is responsible to choose the Hardware that meets their Retail Customer’s design needs.

HARDWARE: MYL can answer Hardware questions that relate to types of Hardware available.  We will also help write up orders, calculate cost and answer questions on specifications.

INSTALLATION: Installation recommendations and questions should be handled by the Installer.

INSTALLATION: MYL will answer questions from the Installer as far as specifications and modifications available for the treatments.

The MYL Designers Marketplace does not offer Installation advice.

NOTE:  If the designer requests any Design Service the cost for Design Service is $75 for 1st Hour and $50 for each additional Hour, to be paid via Credit Card on the day the service is provided.

Introducing our “Market Place Designer Certification Program”

Once you have received orientation, you are free to make an appointment to use our marketplace, with or without your customer, without MYL staff assistance.  To qualify for this program you simply need to call Jackie (Ext. 203) to schedule an orientation.

 

The appointments are still necessary to guarantee availability of the space.
